Cowboys’ video screens OK’d for 2009 season

Jerry Jones won’t have to pay to have his massive video screens lifted in the Cowboys’ new stadium. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell ruled Friday, after speaking with the Competition Committee, on how the rules will operate in instances when the ball strikes the boards above the field of play.

Thigpen deal not dead

The Jacksonville Jaguars remain interested in acquiring Kansas City quarterback Tyler Thigpen, and the Chiefs are certainly open to trading him. That mutual interest has not cooled and sources close to the situation maintain this trade could still occur.
